A soft ballistic bag- is an integral part of the equipment of a modern military man of any profession. It is very light, flexible, and provides shatterproof protection of the part of the body on which it is located. Such a ballistic package will protect you from injuries caused by fragments (from shells, mines, WOGs and grenades), blast waves, ricochets and fragments of bullets, and secondary striking elements (fragments of concrete, stones, glass, etc.).

This ballistic element can be used:

as a damper for slabs that do not have their own shock absorber
as an anti-ricochet in front of the stove, if the stove itself does not have such a coating

The raw material from which ballistic anti-fragment protection is made is actually unique. This is high molecular polyethylene (NVMPE - for convenience), produced by DYNEEMA (USA). This material consists of many soldered layers of very thin and incredibly strong polymer threads, where each subsequent layer is superimposed perpendicular to the previous one. The material is very light, buoyant, and does not lose its ballistic properties when wet*, unlike Kevlar (aramid/paraamid).

But be careful - if there is a large amount of moisture between the layers of NVMPE, then hitting it can cause water hammer. That is why our bags are securely closed in waterproof covers.

Soft ballistic bag 1st class DSTU 8782:2018 (in the American system NIJ 0101.06 IIIA) has 8 layers of NVMPE Dyneema and an anti-obstructive injury damper made of non-ballistic Kevlar (thickness of the damper is 8 mm). It will protect you from PM 9x18mm and Luger 9x19mm pistol bullets.

According to the STANAG 2920 protocol v50 = 614 m/sec (this protocol reflects the protection against debris by measuring the penetration/non-penetration index of the ballistic material when fired with a 1.1 gram steel cylinder at a speed of 450 to 800 m/sec).

If the above is not enough, there is another significant plus: soft ballistic protection not only protects against injuries, but also reduces or completely "eats" armor trauma - damage to soft tissues, blood vessels and internal organs due to impact.
