Unlike conventional ceramic plates, which can chip and crack and only protect against single shots, MIRA's Level IV plates combine the benefits of both ceramic and polyethylene.
These are the lightest ballistic plates.
Ultra-high molecular weight ballistic polyethylene (UHMWPE) anti-fragment protection ensures that bullet fragments are absorbed by the plate and do not fly outwards, injuring the face and limbs.
Lightweight construction thanks to advanced, lightweight materials including Boron Carbide Aluminum Oxide Ceramics (AI203) and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).
